v     Founder's Day Celebration: 20^th January, 2006:The 189^th Founder's Day was celebrated on 20^th January this year. Dr. R.P. Goenka, Hon’ble M.P. (Rajya Sabha) and President of the Presidency College Alumni Association, presided over the function. Distinguished alumni, Sri Subir Raha, Chairman ONGC, Prof. Tapan Ray Chaudhury and Dr. Pratap Chandra Chunder graced the occasion.

v     Celebrations of 150^th Anniversary of the Calcutta University:

The college being a constituent college under the Calcutta University took part in the celebration of 150 Years of the Calcutta University on the 24^th January. Principal and staff members of the college took part in different events organized by the University.
